Yeah. Maryse's, first crush was Psyphon... And they were a pairing. They were about to get married. He gave her this gold ring. He promised that he would make her happy and she loved him with all her heart. But, the day of their marriege, psyphon trapped her and he gave her to Vilgax to steal all her power. Maryse got away. Her heart got black and it filled of hatred. Then she promised that she wouldn't let anybody to feel the love. And that's one reason why she is so jealous of VL. Beacuse she and XLR8 love each other and nothing can stop it.
