I might be in the minority, but I genuinely wish Charmcaster had been given a redemption arc and ended up with Gwen (although that would probably require CC to be Gwen's age, not 5 years older). The two seem like a perfect match and I'm not a big fan of the "sweet uptown girl falls in love with bad boy" trope.
I just feel like Charmcaster had been set up with more redeeming qualities because the original series implied that her villainy stemmed from domestic abuse by her uncle and only sought power because she was desperate to feel in control. Whereas Kevin was simply a sociopath and a dark reflection of Ben.
